1. First and foremost as a Christian, your priority is the Lord and you need to look to him for guidance and direction. Pray about your hopes, ambitions and plans then if they include wanting to find your future spouse online, as long as your heart is true and your motives are pure, then God will reward you for your faith. It was his design for us not to be alone in the first place, which is why Adam and Eve began the human chain. So remember to submit yourself to God and you’ll receive his peace and blessing, making it more likely that his plans for your life will match yours.

2. Ensure that the online dating site you select to meet someone is a genuine Christian Dating site. The outside world has many pitfalls as you know, but on the faceless medium that is the internet those pitfalls can have a larger breeding ground. There are numerous dating sites which profess to be Christian, or have a Christian version included in their franchise…….yeah whatever. So consider it your duty as a Single Christian to read the site particulars carefully and do your due diligence on weeding out the real deals from the pretenders.

3. You’ve sought Gods advice, obviously. Now it would help even further still if, before your relationship developed into something more serious, you went to see your pastor or priest.
