Remember Who You Are! Christian Dating Advice Whether it was intended to be or not my mother gave me the best Christian dating advice almost every time I went out. She would say, ‘Remember who you are and what your are!’ Any person you talk to and any situation you could be in could use that advice because in it you have to think about who you truly are and what you claim to be. Essentially, it means remember your identity. What is your identity as a Christian? Jesus here on earth. Boiled down, that is it. As far as advice for living, especially Christian dating advice, it is hard to find better than that.

As a Christian, just as with any other person on this world, you are going to be looking for that special one that makes you feel complete. Jesus is supposed to make us feel complete but we are also made to have a need for a life long companion here on earth. Most of us are blessed with a chance for that to happen. Finding that certain one that has been made to be with us is a challenge that takes some people many years. This has been a focus for many who are in need of Christian dating advice.

Whether or not you are seeking that life-long companion at the moment, most likely you are going to be given opportunities to go out on dates. In these moments you will be tested in many ways. In every single aspect of your dating, remember who you are and what you are. Remember your identity. If your identity is that of Jesus here on earth, how would Jesus look at them and treat them? More than that, though, remember who that person you are dating is. What is their identity? Are you respecting it? Are they a child of God? Treat them like that in every aspect.
